Nurturing Care and Education for over 25 years
The first Children’s Center located in West Little Rock was established in 1986. The Children’s Center located on I-30 which serves the Otter Creek, Bryant and Saline and South Pulaski County areas was built in 1991. Finally, the Conway center opened their doors in 1995. The three centers are closely owned corporations that operate separately but cooperatively. We have successfully served children and families for over 25 years. We are proud of our long history and the positive impact we have had on the lives of so many children.
Mission and Purpose
Our Childcare Philosophy
The Children’s Center exists to provide high quality care and developmentally appropriate early education to children. Our program seeks to meet the individual needs of children and families within a safe, nurturing and diverse environment.
We believe that secure relationships with responsive and respectful adults provide the basis for all learning. With these relationships in place, children develop a capacity for trust, competence and independence that helps them grow as children. Each child is a unique individual and we desire to serve the very best interest of each child in our care. We can do this best by modeling respect, kindness and love. We believe that parents are the first and primary educators of their children and that parents trust us to supplement and complement the formation of ideas and values that begin at home. Our policy is to encourage and invite parents to observe and experience our program at any time.
